Need help on tire sizes for 20's for my F250...

I've decided to run the 20" x 9" Incubus Recoil and Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2006 F250 4X4. What I can't decide is which size of Nitto to run with. I'm leaving the truck at its stock heighth, and I really want to keep the tire tucked in as much as possible. Having to abide by the load range of 'E', I think I have it narrowed down to these:
285/50R 20
305/55R 20
305/50R 20
I'm kinda leaning towards the 305 55's which have the closest overall diameter, but at 12.00 inches wide, I think it'll stick out to far. Any suggestions? Also, what backspacing would any of you recommend for the wheels? :help:

Thanks!!!

I agree, I'd go with the 305/55-20's. How far they stick out is going to depend on the backspacing of your wheels. Two of the tires you chose are the same width (305mm) and the other is only 10mm narrower.

Thanks Wandell!!

Do you (or anyone else) know what the factory backspacing is on the 18" rims I have now so I have something to base the Incubus rim off of? My concern is rubbing issues with tires that are about 1 1/3" wider than stock if I go with the 305 55's.

Thanks

I'm not sure. Just pull one off and measure it. Just lay a straight edge across the rear lip of the wheel and measure from the mounting surface 9where it bolts to the hub) of the wheel to it's rear lip.

Thanks again, Wandell. Now I just need to find a place that can offer a good deal on these.
