How is that going to stick on top of the factory clearcoat?

I'm planning on wet sanding off the clearcoat. I'm only going to do the center reccessed portion of the wheel.

You should be able to match it up with DupliColor spray cans.

I lightly sanded the spokes on mine, then cleaned them with enamal reducedr to remove any wax or other chemicals. Taped them off and sprayed. Made a lot of difference, I hate that faded gray on those wheels. Your blue should look great. You can see my black ones in my gallery if you are interested.

I'm thinking about using duplicolor chrome on the outer edge of the wheel with the true blue in the center. heres a pic of the wheels tell me what you think it would look like.https://www.f150online.com/galleries...529&anum=12192

My experience with that chorme paint was not good. It looked like paint and it had an uneven appearance. If I were doing it, I would stick with the blue spokes and aluminum look. You might consider additional clearcoat and then keeping them waxed. I know mine is a different wheel, but I get a lot of shine out of mine by using the Meg Spary Wax each time I wash.

I would agree on the chrome paint. From my experience it comes out looking like a slightly shinier silver paint, not even close to actually looking like chrome. Stick with painting the center of the spokes and leave the rest the natural aluminum color.

Make that three for painting the spokes blue and leaving the rest aluminum

idk blue is kinda a weird color to paint rims, i could see black tho. dunno. just dont let it get too ricey.

We painted my roomates old stock Camaro SS rims. we painted the spokes black. I have to say it was very hard to get good results taping off the edge of the spoke/lip

I can find the thread he made when i get home.
