Stainless Brake Lines

Who makes a replacement set and where do I find them for an '01 4X2 screw with 4 wheel discs? Will the lightning set from Russell work or am I out of luck?

Explorer Pro Comp makes them and so does Fabtech. Try www.4wheelparts.com and go under suspension and click the companies....and then you should see it somehwere there

Thanks for taking time to reply. I am not finding them at 4wheelparts for any '01 2wd. I looked at fabtech and explorer pro comps's websites to no avail. Would you be so kind as to post a link or direct me somewhere else? I am surprised at how hard they are to find.

I would say that the lightning lines are the same The stock lines are the same for 2wd trucks the only diferance being if it has 2 wheel or 4 wheel ABS and I believe that differance is in the bracket that holds the wire for the sensor to the front hose. they list the hoses as 21 inches long. The lightning does use differant calipers and rotors but the differance is not in the diameter but in the thickness of the rotor. The L rotor is much thicker and therfore requires a wider caliper and a differant caliper mount.

That is kind off what I was thinking. I just need to make sure that the fittings on the L's front calipers are the same dimentions. Are the rear calipers the same on the L's and the others (supercrew for me)?

Thanks patshea098. I've been to those links and none appear to have the SS lines that will work for my application. I don't want to pay to have custom lines made. If I were to go that route, I think I could got with one of the universal kits. I think I am going to pursue the Lightning lines first. I need information to compare the fittings of the L's calipers to the stock 2wd 4 wheel disc models.

I didn't look at the price of them. I was just on their site looking to see what they had for trucks. If you find some for a decent price let me know, as I'm considering ss lines to firm up the feel of the brakes on my truck.
