Pic of my new tires/rims
Hey all,
I am not exactly new here, but none of you have met me. I have been reading a lot of your opinions and looking a pictures of your trucks (some nice rides in here). I recently went for some larger purchases for my 05 f150. Set of Pro-comp rims (not such a great pic of rims below but will post better ones) and new shoes (BFG AT/KO's 285/75/17). Did a daystar leveling kit as well. 1600 bucks for everything including alignment. Reading your posts helped me decide what I wanted to do. Thanks for all the imput.

Naw,
I just got these. I spend a lot of time at the desert and think that on this truck that a 17 in rim w/ a 33 in shoe is just about right. I don't think the 5.4L is powerful enough in the sand dunes, dirt, desert washes etc. to turn a 35 tire correctly, and a 20 in rim wrapped with a 33 in tire wouldn't be good in an offroad/desert application.
