HAd rotors replaced but still have a question

I had my rotors replaced about 2k miles ago on my 2004 ford f150 supercrew. The rotors seem to be grooved up. I had the rotors replaced because of a pulsation. Was it necessary to replace the calipers to? Only 2 rotors have been replaced and seem to be fine. why are the replacing the calipers? are they defective? DO you think the dealer will replace the rotors because of grooves?

Fords are notorious for bad brakes and the calipers. Every time I change my pads at least one of my calipers are stuck. Not sure about warranty coverage
