Bigger Tires on 2004 FX4 18" w/o Lift?

Will a set of 33X12.50LT18s work on my 2004 FX4 with OEM 18" wheels and no lift or suspension mods? I like the Toyo Open Country M/Ts, but I want to be sure they will not rub.

I believe they will but the middle of the tire may wear a little more than the rest of the tire because they are so wide. People on here are running the terra grapplers in the same size on stock rims and having no problems. You may want to get a leveling kit though. I'm not sure they would fit without a leveling kit.

They will fit. The middle of the tire may wear a little faster due to the smaller (in width) rim it is being put on. I think those tires recommend 8"-9" wide rim but you will be ok.

I know for a fact that a set of 33X13.5R18 ProComp Xterrains will not fit, I tried them on the stock 2004 Lariat SuperCrew wheels (4X4) on my truck and the wouldn't even fit on to the lug studs. If I remember right the guys at the tire center said the tire was hitting the upper ball joints before even getting on the lug studs. Guess I should've researched a little more. The 12.5" wide ones may work though. Good luck.
