315s and a 3" Body lift

I have a 2003 Super Crew 4x4, and I am about to buy a 3" body lift. I just don't know whether I will need a 16x8 or 16x10 wheel and what kind of backspacing to go with. Will a 315 fit with just the lift or will I need to crank the torsion bars and trim? Thanks

Thumbs up go big it will work

your set up will allow 16x10 and 315's with 3" body lift, i did it on a 1997 f150 4x4. if you want to totally level your truck put about a turn on each torsion bar adjuster. count the turns and do the same on both sides. if you do the torsion bars you will need a front end allignment. with the lift and tires you will be supprised what the truck will go through.

I've got an 01 SCREW with BFG 315/70-17s on 17x9 Helo Maxx 6s with no lift at all, I had to crank the torsion bars a little bit and do a very minor amount of trimming but it fits and I personally think it looks good.... My pic is in the signature....
