Dont know 22's or 24's

What do you think my best bet is 22 or 24 inch rims. I have a new 06 Lincoln Mark LT white. I dont know if i should put 22's or 24's. the price diffrence is about a $1000. what would you do. have not seen 24 on any trucks on board. I did see a new black all blacked out f150 in NYC last week on 24 and it was sick as heck.

I have 24's and I love the look. Check out my photos on the top of the screen.

Man, I love the look of 24s on the F150, and when the F150 is lowered with 24s, they are tight.. However, I mainly got my truck to tow a trailer. So, when I do put wheels on my truck, I am going with 22s. The Harley trucks comes with 22s. That way, I won't lose all my towing prowess, and still get some good looks out the deal.

If you are not towing all that much, go with the 24s, that is, if the grand difference is not a hinderance.

Both look great. It just depends on how you use your truck.

what size tires r u running on those 24s?

There sure aren't that many 24's out there that I have seen. Plus not everyone can afford them. If your truck is for TURN YOUR HEAD LOOKS then 24's...... BUT if you work and wheel with your truck I would stick with 18-20's. But that look factor is great. Also, if you hit a pothole, or warp or bend a rim, it would be cheaper to replace in the smaller size. FYI:thumbsup:

crispinrr, my buddy has the same truck as u, in the grey color. He just ordered 22" TIS model 03 rims with 40 series tires, should have em tomorrow or friday, i'll see if I can get a pic for ya, maybe it'll help ur decision. He was going to go with 24s also, but not so sure the cost risks with them is worth it.

24's would look awesome but if you can't swing the 1000 go with the 22's

crispinrr Dec 26, 2005 06:14 PM

thanks bigthangs. that would be awsome let me know if you can get pics. i was looking at TIS too so it would be perfect mabey they are the same ones. thanks for all the replies

He got em on a couple days ago, they look so good on there. I'll probably be ordering mine next week when I get back in town probably. I'll be going with the TIS 2.2 black w/chrome lip model in 22" to accent my black truck. Should be sick, i'll try to get some pics of my friends mark LT soon...
