I was worried with the larger tires if I would notice a loss of power and I swear it feels like it has more power! Hopefully I can get a CAI and a Troyer Xcal 2 by the years end and I should be grinning from ear to ear.

Have you tape measure for actual height and width eh ?

Just curious.

Looks great, I can't wait to do that. Any particular reason, besides the looks, that you didn't keep your stock wheels with the new rubber?

Man o man, that's what I was looking for. My truck with a leveling kit and just the right sized tires.

It looks like those tires would fit on my stock 18" rims.

Sweet. Like the truck.

BFG says the rim width range for this tire is 8 to 10 inches. The stock wheel is 7.5. I bet you could get the 285/65-18 on a stock wheel. Wandell would tell you for sure. That is not the reason I changed wheels. I actually bought the wheels first (just to be different) with the intentions of running the stock Rugged Trails. After getting the 2 inch front lift the stock tires just looked a little small so I started my search for the BFG A/T KO's. I was originally told it would be at least 4 weeks before I could get some. I guess they got tired of me coming up to the tire shop every day pestering them and they burned up the phone lines and finally found me set.

Yoman no matter which way I measure them the best I can get out of them height wise is 32 inches. Knob to knob (actual foot print) is 9 inches. If you measure from the widest point (sidewall bulge to sidewall bulge) you can get the BFG stated 11.5 inches.

Those are the exact measurements I get on mine blyoth. I also put mine on the stock Lariat rims and they look fine, I run them at 45psi and the sidewall bulge looks about perfect. Have not done the chalk test yet but I'm betting somewhere in the 40's is perfect. The best part is I have no leveling kit now and they really fill up the wheelwells, looks much tougher than stock tire!

Okay do you want to hear a funny story? I read on here some where about a guy that his new wheels scratched up at the alignment shop. So of course when they snapped the alignment tools on my new wheels I cringed. I watched carefully as they pulled them off and sure enough I could see a 1/4 inch black mark on my wheel. I leaned over the rail designed to keep customers out and rubbed it a little and it would not come off. I did not say anything but all the way home all I could think about is I hope they didn't mess my wheels up to bad. As soon as I got home I checked it out. I rubbed the black line again and it still did not come off. As I pulled my hand away from the wheel I hit a little titty sticking out from the inside of the tire and the black line on my wheel wiggled. I was seeing the reflection of the titty off the tire in the wheel. Wheww!!! There must have been 6 or 8 of them on each tire. I went around and plucked them all off.
