backspacing issue

i have a 2005 4x4 f-150 screw with a 2 1\2 inch donahoe racing leveling kit and bilstein shocks.does anybody have pictures of a similar set up with robby gordon wheels 17x8 with 4 1\8 back spacing with 285\70\17 tires ,or 17x8 1\2 with 5inch backspacing walker evans racing wheels. i plan to buy the robby gordon wheels unless they stick out to far past the fender. my question is how far will either setup stick out past the fender?

The stock wheels are 7 1/2 inches wide with 5 1/2 inches of backspacing. So, both wheels will stick out about 1 1/2 inches farther than the OEM wheels.

I've got a 04 F150 and I put wheels with 4.5" backspacing on and they stick out about 3" farther on each side. Keep this in mind. Your going from a 6" backsp. to a 4" backsp., that's 2" on each side plus the aftermarket wheels are generally wider getting you to around 3" on each side. I'm currently on the hunt for wheels with stock backspacing or something closer to stock than the 4.5" ones I've got. You've got a leveling kit which I do not have so that may make a difference in the look. I'd consider the Walker Evans with 5" backspacing, though. :coffee:

the only way you would be 3 inches wider on 4.5 inch back spaceing is if you got a 9.5 inch rim. wandall is correct the the rims he is looking at which are only 8 to 8.5 inch wide rims.
