nitto's and stock rims

nitto's and stock rims

probably on here already, but can't seem to find it on a quick search......

will 295/70/17 nitto a/t's fit safely on the stock 7.5" wide rims????? I know they will clear, but is this too much tire for that rim?

nittos site says that they are certified for 8.0-9.5" rim width- 7.5 is the rim..your under their approved width, but by only .5 so i wouldnt worry- good luck

They will be fine, I ran 315s on my stock 7.5" wheels for a while, just play with air pressure to get the best patch of rubber on the road.....

I'm pretty sure that's what RED WING NUT is running...maybe check the '04 forum, I know I've seen a few there.

While were on this topic... Anyone know if 325/65/18s will fit on the stock 18x8.5 FX4 wheel?

our fx4 wheels are 18x7.5 that being said, sure you can put the tires on, however, it isnt recommended due to the large difference in width- ie, advised 9" minimum, using 7.5"...
