i was just wondering what tire psi that the you were running. i mostly asking anyone running bfg at 285 people but any info would be great. i ran 32 psi in this tire on my jeep wrangler. but that is lighter and asmaller rim. not sure if that makes a diff or not. the tire people put in 38 and that seemed to ride much ruffer so backed it down to 35. but what do you find best for wear and ride. thanks

 

I have 285/70R17 BFG AT and ran 36psi for 30k miles. The ride was rough, and the front tires were wearing a little rounded on the edges. I lowered to 32psi, and apprechiate the softer ride so far. It's only been 500 miles, so no long term feedback.

 

32 to 40psi will be fine for daily driving. You may want to experiment a little.

 

does 5 psi really make that much difference? I havent really noticed any difference in my tires, which are rated E and usually keep them at 40, but have experimented in the 60s, just to see what it was like

 

I usually do 40 up front, and around 35 in the rear.

 

i went to 32 and it is a better ride my wife even notice it
