ABS Light is on
My truck's ABS light went on a few days ago, the brakes are working as usual, and I took my truck with a specialist, and he told me that the brakes were just fine, and he even adjust a little the rear brakes, but the ABS light si still on. What I found out this morning, is that my dog literally ate some cables from my truck, this cables is a pair of yellow and red cables I think that connect right in the middle of the rear axle, I am from Mexico and I really don't know the parts names in english, but I think you'll understand what I mean by the rear axle, I hope ... well, what I want to know is if this broken cables could be the ones that caused my ABS light to go on. Let me know, I am already looking for this conector, but I wish to know if this cables could be causing me more problems in the future.
Thanks a lot folks

The wires in the center of the rear differential go to the ABS sensor that is located at the forward top of the pumpkin. If the sensor - or the wire - breaks, the ABS light will come on indicating that your ABS system is broken.
I recommend that you change the sensor when you fix the wires because they break often. The sensor costs about U$10 at the ford dealer and it takes only a few minutes to unbolt it.
