having trouble stopping
Hello everyone
im new to this forum, and it looks good here. I like the design and the layout
I have a 1986 ford F15 Lariat (sp?) and when the truck is off I can hit the brakes and they work just fine. but when I turn it on, the pedal goes to the floor. when you push the pedal as hard as you can it locks the back brakes up but besides that any pressure to the brake pedal doesnt work at all. when you pump the brakes it feels like its going to work again but it doesnt. If anyone has a clue on how I can fix this it would be very helpfull
thank you for your help ahead of time

Has any work been done on the brakes?
I would start with an inspection of the system. Visually checking all 4 corners to see if all was well. If it all is good, and you have free caliper movement and free wheel cylinder movement then procede to bleed and flush the system. If no pedal is still felt, then the master replacement is next.
Good luck.
