Squeaky Brakes

I have an 02 F150 scab, 4x4 and i noticed that the front brakes squeak a little when i apply the brakes then they go away. I took it to a buddy of mine who is a mechanic and he said there is plenty of pad left on them, now how do I get rid of the squeaky noise that I get? Any suggestions would be helpful!!

make sure the squeel clips are in good condition and maybe want to try some anti-squeel grease on the back of the pads. it definately pays to clean all the parts you can on the brakes often so that you dont have very costly repairs in the future!

Replace your brake pad slides, if the anti-squeal doesn't work.

For squeaking Brakes you might want to try using a product called Flex-Hone for Rotors. I bought a Flex-Hone off the Snap-on Truck. For info on this product visit www.flexhone.com . I was happy with the results anyway.
