I am going to buy 285/70/17 TOYO Open Country A/T (has the 265 wrangler on)this weekend to put on my stock '02 4x4 Screw lariat. What I understand from the discussions those should fit perfectly fine without any rubbing with the stock rims.

Do you have photos of your trucks with similar setup...just so I can see how it looks?

Also, do you recommend that I pay for wheel alignment when I go for the "bigger" tires, even if the old tires seem to wear evenly or is it just a waste of money?

 

I have a pic in my gallary of my Screw when I bought it with 285/75-16 BFG AT KO's on the stock wheels. Just search the gallaries for "Wandell's Screw and Expy".

APT, is your Screw lifted in those photos ? It looks similar to my Screw with the 265 stock tires, i.e. the wheel clearance...I gues 285 vs. 265 isn´t that much visible difference, after all diameter difference is close to only 1" !!?
