Hey Phenom

Phenom, I had the same problem trying to decide with either 20's w/ 305/50/20 Nitto's or 22's rollin 305/45/22's ??????? I found a great tire made by COOPER TIRES that kinda gives you the best of both worlds. Goto the web site WWW.COOPERTIRES.COM and under performance tires you'll find the COOPER ZEON XST. I went with these on 22" MbMotoring Cannon's . The 305/45/22 Zeon XST is 32.8 inches tall and very aggresive for a SUV tire. It has wicked wet traction and is great in the mud (I work for a rock quarry) and most important, they look killer and are super quiet! Hope this helps you with your problem. For some reason I can't post a pic of them on this thread, so you can goto my gallery "rockafella" and I have Pics of them on my truck. All I did was put a leveling kit up front to raise it 1.5 inches to make it level.

If you think that street tire is great in the mud, a set of mud terrians will blow your mind. One of my friends just bought a set of those for is Caddy and loves them so far.

Those are pretty nice-looking tires. I'm afraid I've already got the BFG All-Terrains though. Plus, to get the approximate look I was hoping for, I'd probably have to get 305s, and I can't imagine the tires sticking out another inch from where my BFGs are now.

Thanks for the info, though, I had no idea those existed.

Hey wandell, I've had 35" BOGGERS on my 94 Wrangler, I know mud tires.... That's the reason why I looked at every 305/45/22 tire that I could find. I wasn't happy with any of the "street tread" tires like toyo, nitto, etc. Going from TSL swampers, to boggers, to buckshot mudders will do that to a guy. I have no intention of muddin' my 02 Supercrew, that's what jeeps are for, but I needed something agressive around the pit for winter time, and these coopers fit the bill.
