Sorry if this has already been asked and I know that everybody has opinions just like a-holes. But I've owend quite a few lifted 4X4's in the past (last being F350 S/D 4 door long bed 4 inch lift on 35's) and currently purchased a 05 four door FX4. I already installed a Daystar 2.5" leveling kit from four wheel parts wholesalers. 1 of their shops says 35's no problem as does a local tire and wheel shop, claiming to already have done it. Another 4 wheel parts retail shop says it's not a good ideal. I don't want to hack up this brand new truck's fenders and spoilers but would really like to see if someone has pulled this combo off. My measurements look like it might be possible. I was thinking Pro Comp series 6089 18X9 wheels w/ 35x12.50x18 BFG mud terrain. Am I just a case of wishfull thinking?

 

Everything I have heard says 35"s fit with no problems after the leveling kit is installed. No leveling kit = 33"s.

Did you have to do any trimming?

 

no trimming had to remove molded flaps from front. link to gallery below
