which mud terrain?
i want some m/t but dont know which ones... i don want to spend lots on them. it is for a daily driver so i want ones that will last. i need 33x12.5/15
im considering bfg m/t, or ive seen the superswamper trxus m/t that are like 20 dollar cheaper than bfgs. what do you all think? thanks. |
I'd recomment the BFG MT KM, Goodyear MTR or Toyo Open Country MT. The Pro Comp MT's are a good tire also and sometimes you can find good deals on them. Shop around for prices. It pays to compare.

BFG MT KM's all the way. I have them on my truck and love them. They have pulled through anything i have put in front of them. My friend has some Goodyear MT's and they dont clean anywhere as easy as mine do. I would say BFG al the way.

i went to a few places around my area here and they are all backordered on bfgs. so unless i find somwhere to order them they are out of the question. anyone know of any deals going on? at the local bfg store they would mount and balance each tire for 170$ anyone know of any sites to get tire and wheel packages? 4wheelparts.com has some but none that i want. thanks for input

I was thinking about getting some mud terrains cause they look a lot better but i dont want to buy some and then have to buy a new pair in 6 months. Which brand will last just as long as all terrains? Or is there any all terrains that look really aggressive and last long?
|
See my last post. As for AT's, I think the BFG AT KO's are the most aggressive looking. I have almost 40,000 on mine and they still look great.

bfg m/ts and a/ts have the same treadwear rating from bfg
|
You may want to consider the Nitto Terra Grappler AT. This is not a mud tire but is a very aggressive AT tire. It would probably work better on the highway without losing a lot of off road capability. I do like the BFG MT however. Just may be a little much for mostly highway driving.

I liked my pro-comps, but that was on a jeep, much much lighter. If your looking for good tire and wheel packages http://ntwonline.com/ great bunch of people.

He made me a great deal. He's the man :bows: |
Here ya go....Gest Deal....long lasting.
made by Multi-Mile called the Wild Country Radial RVT (FW tread) It is made in the Kelly Springfield plant along with all Kelly's, Big O tires, Goodyear, and most american tires. They are hard to beat, and pinned for studding. I am on my 3rd truck with a set. I had a set of 33's on a Toyota, after 60k miles they were only half worn. If legal, studding mudders prevents cupping, making them last longer and ride quieter. (check your local laws) I just put a set of LT255/85R16's on this morning. They are 33+" and fit on the newer F150's because they are narrower than the 285's. Goo luck..... |
