20's on my f-150

hello everyone, haven't posted here much but i have found alot of useful information.

i have a 2wd 97 f-150 flareside standard cab. the front ride height is stock and the rear has 2" drop shackles. i'm looking at picking up a set of 20's for my truck (20 x 8.5).

i was looking to run around 30" tall tires on my trucks, and at tire rack i was able to find some 295/45 20... which comes out to about 30.5" according to my calculations. i'm just wonderring if the tires will be too wide? according to my calculation the 295 will have a width of 11.6". some sites that i have been looking for rims sugggest a 285/50 for 20" x 8.5" wheels, so would the extra centimeter really kill me in the end?

i was hoping to buy the tires from costco since i live in hawaii and that knocks off about 150 bucks of shipping i'd have to pay if i buy from someplce else. they also have free mounting and balancing. i have yet to take a good look at local dealers (goodyear and all them other guys around here).

anyway, would the 295's give me issues with the 8.5" wheel?
