35's

This has probally been asked and answered a ton. I have an 02 SuperCrew that I want to lift. I have checked with some place's and they said with a 4 inch lift I can put 35's. I read a while ago about trim or something like that. Do I have to do anything to my truck or will the lift just go on with no rubbing, etc?

Sometimes you have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower plastic valance, especially if you use a 10 inch wide wheel. It's no big deal and isn't noticable.https://www.f150online.com/galleries...-889-38346.jpg

With stock gears will 35's work good? How about any tranny problem's.

Wandall,
I noticed your running 16x10's
Were these installed prior to the lift?
and do you have any problems with rubbing?

I have a 2000 supercab 4x4 and am looking to re-shoe,
I am looking at 17x10 or 16x10 but am afraid of the rubbing factor.

Yeah, I had the 285/75-16's and 16x10 Eagle Alloy 058's before I lifted my truck. I had to trim about 1/2 inch of plastic off the front bumper's lower valance (see the pic above). That was the only place they touched.
