Question 10ply or 4 ply

I have a price for 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer A/T 10 plys for $108 each. Question is, I know the 10 plys will ride rougher than the 4's, but do I really need 10's. I wont be doing any serious 4 wheeling. What would y'all recommend. I do mostly highway driving.

If you aren't gonna be doing any 4-wheelin, or heavy hauling, your not gonna need the 10-ply. The 4-ply should be alot better for you if your gonna mainly do high-way driving like you said.

scooby,
why not go with a 6ply tire. these are much better suited for what you are doing. even if you aren't planning on doing any heavy wheelin, it only takes a little to destroy a 4ply tire. Rich
