Post a wider tires

I want wider tires, but hubby says I have to go to a 15 inch wheel. I want to keep the factor wheels is possible and go to a 60 series tire. If not what should I do?

The Baja wheels ARE a good choice! I have 12" wide tires on mine and I think they look awesome.
Ditto on the 15" wheels. The 16"s have almost no cleareance to the caliper assembly - no way would 15"s fit.

Well FordMama, what year is your truck? the 97,98,99 can't use a 15 inch wheel. From what I was told by a tire place the brakes are too large and would rub on the rim. I want wider tires too, So I'm gonna change my 16x7's to 16x8's. Can fit HUGE tires on a 16x8 American Racing makes the ones I'm gonna get. Its their Baja series and its not too expensive either $115 a wheel. Plenty of tires to go on that size too.

And Coming Soon: 3&1/2 Inch Fabtech Lift Kit, 16x8 American Racing Baja Wheels Wrapped With 33's

It is a 99 ford f150 supercab and thanks for all the help. That's what I was thinking everything went to 17 and above so I'll have to figure out what to do next. What size tires did you get?

Prime makes a 15x10" wheel that will fit our trucks. They have a lot of offset so they will clear the calipers, but you can get 15" wheels for our trucks. There is a truck in the owners gallery that has them and a couple of people on the message board that have them. https://www.f150online.com/owners/owners49.html
That is page 49 in the owner's gallery. The truck at the bottom of the page has 15" wheels. Hope this helps.
