285/75-16s

Last week I put 285/75 r16 BFG All Terrains on American Racing Atlas wheels on my truck. It rides so much smoother than the 17" wheels. Alltogether there is 2 inches more tire sidewall. They stick out about an inch farther than stock due to the 16x8 wheel, but just enough to look mean. What tire pressure is the best to run in these tires? How often should I have them balanced? How many miles should these last? just a few questions, thanks.

Cool

Most excellent choice on the wheels, I have the same ones but mine are mounted with Bridgestone Dueler A/T's same size. Balance them every ten thousand and keep them pressured up just a tad over the manufacturers number (5lbs over) this is due to the intended purpose, they think you will be off road alot more than you probably will.
Your are right they look mean. My truck just makes others look plain. I have a Gold 99 SC with tinted windows and black westin nerf bars. Simple, and she gets more attention than I want.
