Question about 305/70/16's
I have been doing alot of research. I cannot seem to find a BFG all terrain in 305/70/16 size....I like the way it looks compared to all the rest of the A/T's out there...It looks more beefy if you know what I mean. I don't want just a normal A/T that looks like a road tire. If BFG does not make an A/T in that size, what is a good substitute that I would be satisfied with? Thanks

BFG does make a 305/70-16 in the AT KO but they havn't been making it long. That's why it isn't listed in most ads. A lot of companies don't update their adds very often.

If you like the size 305/70/16, you may want the 285/70/16 or the 295/75/16. Those sizes are a little different, but they could work for you.

I have 285/75/16 on my truck and they look awsome. They fill the wheel wells and don't rub at all. From what I have heard the 305's rub up front, and some people need to cut the valance under the bumper so they can turn the wheel. The 285/75's (33x11.5) are the same height as the 305/70's(33x12.5), but they are about an inch narrower allowing more room to play with and allow you to turn the wheel block to block with no trimming.
Good luck choosing Here is a pic of my truck running the 285's https://www.f150online.com/galleries...7017&anum=5006 |
