Joe,
See the thread called Vibration started by erb383 and last posted to 5-15-99. Your dealer should probably start with tire balance/condition, then check the driveshaft for runout and balance, then "neutralize" the exhaust system (check to be sure that it is isolated from the frame). Experience with my truck was that it was the exhaust system, as with others. Check the thread and print it out to show your dealer if need be.

Yes!!!!! I have the same problem with my 5.4 S/C. From 67-71 MPH there is an annoying resonance/vibration in the cab. The exhaust has the damper that everyone is talking about...but so does my friends '97 so I'm not quite sure where to go from here. Is the exhaust isolation fix something that Ford "officially" does??
Thanks

Sounds like you guys are about to hit the magic speed that the Doc was talking about. You may be about to go "Back to the Future".

Just kidding. My truck had a similar vibration for about a week. Once I had the flowmasters put on, it seem to go away. Go figure.

PS. Never hit 88 mph or !@#$#%$^%^

Joe,
Hi I do not know if you saw my thread. I got my truck out of the shop last week. They replaced the engine, the torque converter and the flywheel. The vibration was not fixed. Ford is going to send an Engineer to see about the truck. We will see what happens this time.
