How BIG with 18's?
 

How big of a tire can I get into the fender without rubbing with an 18 x 9 in wheel. I was thinking of getting the Harley-Haulers. My truck is 4x4 so I want to fill the fender as much as possible!!! I don't want to have a descent sizes rim with alot of fender room. So.........what's the biggest size, what brand might that be, about how much... and has anyone done this and has pics.

Mike; I just put a set of BFG All-terrain KO 285/65/18 on my chrome L wheels. I have a '97 4X4 supercab and they look great. No need to trim anything. Good luck. :angel:

My dad just got a set of Nitto Terra Grappler's 285/60 18 (I think) on 18X9's and it looks really, really good. I guess they're the same diameter as say a 265/7017 (the stock size) but a bit wider so fills it up nicely. I just asked him today to send me a digital picture. When I get it I'll post it.

I just ordered 285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on a set of American Racing Nitro wheels. Gets installed on Monday I will let you know how I like them. Putting them on a white '97 F-150 4x4.

If you saw TRUCKS on TNN a couple weeks ago, he put on some 305/60/18's Nitto Terra Grablers on a White 2002 SuperCrew 4x4 5.4. He also supercharged it and put on a SI/DO Flowmaster exhaust on it. Pretty Cool.
