Best brake pads out there.

Hi friends. This is to all of you. Based on your experience, which brake pad in the market is the best one? Good braking distances, good price for the product based on performance, minimum dust, no noise.....etc, etc.

Don't buy albany brand brake pads for your f-150 if you don't like lots of bake dust on your front wheels. (disk brakes) They may work fine on others trucks but not on this one.

Hmm, I just bought Albany brake pads... other than dust (which merely is a cosmetic problem, isn't it?), what downsides have you experienced with them?

Performance Friction form Autozone is a good choice. Cheap, good stopping, no squealing until they get really hot. The dust isn't real bad, probably worse than stock though. And when you wear them out, go get new ones for free from the zone.. I'd go with the normal ones, not the Z-rated ones. They are about 55 dollars a set.

There is no Autozone here in Puerto Rico yet. But I am doing the same with the last pads I bought from Pep Boys. I can get the next set for nothing but this last set I got produces too much dark dust. I think I will upgrade to the next level next time unless I decide to get another brand that you guys may recommend.

Thanks for the replies
