What size?
I'm going to be installing the Fabtech 6 inch lift on my 98 F150 4x4 4.6 and will be using 35 inch tires! What backspacing to get with the weld rims?
|
I would assume you are going with a 10 inch wide rim? The 4 5/8" (I think?) backspacing will put the edge of the tire just about flush with the edge of the fenders. If you want them to "stick out" any farther, go with the 3 5/8" backspacing. Most people running 16x10's have about 4 1/2" or 4 5/8" backspacing because that is what most manufacturers build. In fact, Weld is the only company I've seen which gives you an option. My Eagle's have 4 1/2" backspacing. Look at my pics in my gallary, maybe it will help you make up you mind.

How about a link to your gallery so I will be able to find it!
|
Just go to the gallaries and do a search for Wandell:thumbsup:

Maybe it's just me? But I can't seem to find anything in the galleries under Wandell! What page is it on? I know I'm new to this fourm but still can't find it!

Here's a side shot for you. These are 16x10 Welds with 4-5/8 backspace. As you can see the tires stick out just a bit.

Finally someone posts me a pic! Thanks for the photo it gives a better idea of what I'm in for. After all 4 5/8 isn't bad at all. Thanks again.
