Ebay intake kit question?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1871182826

Where is the MAF sensor housing adapter? Do most of these kits not include this piece? Will the kit's pre filter intake elbow tube work with the stock MAF housung? Thanks!!!

I dont know the answer to your question, however if I may give you some advice. The intake in question appears to be made out of some sort of metal. That is a conducter of heat there for heating the air that is going into your engine.Perhaps you should look into somethimg that is made from some sort of plastic.Possably a k&n or a airaid.Just my 0.2.Good luck what ever you decide....

Huh...I had assumed the K&N or Airaid kits were coated Al. I'll have to look into that more. Maybe I could wrap the Al. tube with some kind of heat shielding? I'd like to just get a JET coated WMS tube, but I think $133 is a little steep for just the tube.

I agree I think you can get a K&N or a Airaid for uder 200.00 from your local speed shop...

By the way thats a cheap looking airfilter on that e-bay setup. Also remember there is such a thing as a good deal. But there is a saying (You get what you pay for too).Good luck..;)

That's why I plan on simply replacing my stock elbow, since I cut out the restriction inside it and lost low-end. I also want to remove the vaccume line silencers in the process. Is it possible to make your own elbow form TB to MAF housing?
