mountaineer 5.0 awd upgrades

So I bought a 2000 mercury mountainner awd 5.0 to add to the stable. Do these things have any potential for mods and if so what are the best ones and what kinda gains can I get from them. Thanks.

They put a 5.0 in a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer???

Just about anything that works on a mustang 5.0 will work on a Mountaineer, as I recall the only issues are hood clearance and waterpump length.
