I saw this picture and just had to laugh. I thought you all might get a kick out of it. Bad thing about it is that it's on a Ford modular motor, most likely a 4.6L. Who wants to try this first. .

I put a Ryobi in mine! It came with more attachments... I can trim the lawn, edge the driveway, till the garden, and blow my Ford all at the same time! And, it's gas powered, so I don't have to mess with those pesky extension cords!

Actually, this might not be such a bad idea. A while back somebody posted some messages about a company that makes an electric supercharger. One of the replies was from a guy who said he was gonna try the leaf blower method and post the results, but he never did. I wonder how well it works?

I took an old hair dryer my mom was gonna toss and took out the heating element and wired it up to a switch inside on my old '89 escort. Sounds like a hair dryer going down the highway

 

I wish I knew the guy that tried this, just to ask him how well it work if at all. I think this may be on a thunderbird.

I sure hope that Toro has the mulching option, as those holes in that screen are pretty large! He probably should have tilted it 45 degrees and strapped a K&N to the intake!

This was originally posted in the L forum. That is a 4.6. Look where the coil is and how the plug wires run. The other coil will be in the same position on the other side of the motor.

Going to add headers.


Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, composite driveshaft, bore engine 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, performance heads, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.
