Post Cold starting

I replaced the spark plugs and spark plug wires in my '86 F-150 302 EFI last weekend and things seemed fine (truck ran great). Monday I went and had the B&G injector service (chemical run through engine - additive in gas tank) and the truck still ran fine Monday afternoon and Tuesday. Wednesday morning it started but acted like a carbureted vehicle where the automatic choke is not working (had to pump the gas pedal to keep it running for the first ten seconds or so then all was fine). Had the same experience yesterday and this morning (Friday). Wonder if this is a side-effect of the gas additive or if maybe the PCM has gotten confused and I need to reset it? Thanks for any suggestions.

PS Before the B&G service, a repair shop sprayed part of a can of Motorcraft throttle body cleaner that I had purchased from a Ford dealer into the throttle body but told me it "was not doing any good" and referred me to the shop that did the B&G procedure.

Don't take my word on this, but I thought you couldn't spray any cleaner down the intake of a fuel injected engine. I take it no check engine light comes on so you really can't tell if it is one of your O2 sensors or not. Not sure what to tell you. Somebody will come along who has had this happen before. By the way, how much did that cleaning cost at the dealer?

Didn't realize the '86 had EFI. For some reason, I thought it started with the '87 models? Guess I was mistaken.

Chuck-
The can of motorcraft cleaner specified spraying it in the fuel-injected engine. The B&G chemical cleaning was $75.00.
