Superchips?

I know this is beaten to death so I apologize up front. I see most like the Superchips programming the best. Is there a Superchips program for the 2002?

Also, I am wondering what does the program actually change? i.e. shift points, shift firmness due to line pressure changes, throttle response...meaning..while cruising and pressing the gas pedal does it down shift alot quicker, timing, air/fuel, etc.

Finally, is it a hand held unit that you get and you download the program? Or is it actually a "chip"? Can you go back to stock if need be?

Again thanks everyone for your info and help. I am really enjoying the board here

The Superchips is a module that plugs into the service port on your PCM. Mike Troyer can give you more information that you ever thought you'd need on them.
