Angry Engine noise

After more than 2 full days at the dealership, I still have the initial problem (surprise, surprise!). After cold start, there is a metallic, almost grinding sound that sounds like it is originating in the belt system. It changes with RPM and goes away after about 5-8 minutes. The colder it is, the longer it lasts. Some times, it doesn't start until I put it in gear with my foot on the brake. It seems to be getting louder and louder. Anyway, the dealer already replaced the alternator, belt, idler pulley and tensioner. Any other ideas?

Tell them to check the mounting bolts on your accessories,ALL of them! I've had my belt and tensioner replaced three times by dealers who were too lazy to check them. Tightened my a/c compressor bolts(two were loose)and the problem went away.
Although, the replacement tensioner they put on just 10,000 miles ago is already going bad. I can't believe it,do they purposely make their replacement parts only last the required 12,000 miles?
I'll have to check the exact mileage, but I'll
bet it's past that ,now,,,,98
