From the US 2002 Source Book

(compression, horsepower, torque)

4.2L EFI V6 9.2 202 @ 4800 252 @ 3400
4.6L EFI V8 9.3 231 @ 4750 293 @ 3500
5.4L EFI V8 9.0 260 @ 4500 350 @ 2500

So i guess the HP's vary anywhere between 260-350 depending on my RPM's?

Not exactly. Look closer. First Number is horsepower. Second number is torque... at respected RPM's

What are you talking about man? 260 is the HP rating and 350 is the torque rating.

No, not really. I have been looking all over for horsepower and torque charts to look at the actual curves... to see how flat the torque curve is, for example. I have not been able to find one.

Now, Mr. SuperChips Distributor says he has hundreds of them, but for some reason they cannot be posted. Go figure.

You can compute the horsepower from the torque and vice versa... so you can at least get two points for comparision.

HP = (Torque * RPM) / 5252, so at max torque we get

HP = (350 * 2500) / 5252 = 166.6 HP at max torque

Also

Torque = (HP * 5252) / RPM, so at max HP we get

Torque = (260 * 5252) / 4500 = 303.4

So, you get a couple of points, and indeed, that's a pretty flat torque curve between 2500 and 4500 RPM.
