Hi I'm 03 mike,

I have an 03 expedition with 150, 000 on it. I need to do a head gasket replacement. I've never done it before . It ran fine before the head gasket failed so do I just replace the head gasket and put it back together? I feel like I should rebuild or replace the heads while I have them off .
I'm looking for any insight that might be helpful?

I've always felt that if you are going to pull a head, you should have the head rebuilt. Costs more but lasts longer.
