4.6L vin 6
is the engine on a 2000 expedition 4.6L vin 6
exactly the same in a 2003 F150 4.6L also vin 6?

WAIT A MINUTE. The 2003 engine has PI heads, the 2000 engine may not. Manifolds are not interchangeable. The electronics may also be different, accessories may also differ. It's not a direct no brainer dropin.
