If you had a great mechanic willing to install a new motor, where would you get it? I'm looking for a bit more juice than stock. Not opposed to an engine tranny combo at the number of miles I've got.

Just trying to gain some knowledge in souping up my ride in the future or selling it and getting another that is 4-5 years old...

 

Just sell it and get a new one.

Or get a rebuild it and add a supercharger.

 

Trade it in on a 2011 or newer with a 5.0 or Ecoboost.

Yeah, I hear you. I like my '07. But I want to go bigger to a new F350 PSD. Just need to get the rest of my finances straight, then go for the plunge.

Not something I am looking forward to, but I would really like something that I won't have to second guess what I am throwing on the trailer hitch for years to come.

As soon as my warranty is about to expire on my F150, I am trading it up a F350... that's not till 2022 though. So by then, I will have had enough money saved up for a nice down payment, including trade. Keep that for 15 years and do it all over again.

I love Ford's extended warranties.
