lincoln truck motor squeal

5.4 with 220,000 miles squeal sounds from top drivers side of motor squeal on acceleration and stops on deacceleration noise there with belts off

It might be your harmonic balancer.

Sounds like you need to remove the driver's side valve cover and take a look.
