best coils for 06 5.4 besides motorcraft ?
as it says, are there other good coils out there that wont break the bank and be long lifed
and reliable? same with v v t sensors? thank you! --irv

VVT sensor? Do you mean solenoid? I think I'd stick with Motorcraft here.

As glc said, Delphi or Denso, or lastly MC.

If it were my truck, and it was my source of income, you betcha I'd use MC.

Denso is the OEM for Motorcraft coils these days, so that's a no brainer. Delphi used to be the OEM for AC Delco, so the quality is there.

ordered delphi coils. they also do oem work for ford . i believe they did the multicolored instrument panel for
the 05 and newer mustangs.
