Check the fuel pressure.

I don't have the means to do so, but I did replace the fuel filter, the EGR valve, the PCV.
I found a crack in the hose from the PCV to the top of the engine, so I am going to replace that and see how it goes.

If you live in the USA, most auto parts stores will check the codes for free. Even if you have to buy a code reader, they are cheap and way less expensive than throwing parts at the problem.
