Navigator intake vs Coyote intake

Navigator intake vs Coyote intake
Hello,
I'm in the process of preparing a 5.4 dohc from a navigator for it's new home in my expedition.
The block is currently at the machine shop getting some work done before I can start reassembly.
When I received my block it did not come with the navigator intake manifold.
Since I have to get a manifold, I was wondering if I would see any benefit from getting the mmr adapter plates and using an intake from a coyote vs the stock navigator manifold?
The expedition is used as a truck, it is mainly used as my tow rig but does do periods as my daily driver, it's not a high rpm screamer.
I'm not sure how the two manifolds would compare in this rpm range in regards to torque.
The engine is being rebuilt from top to bottom.
For mods it just has your basic bolt ons, exhaust, pulleys, E-fan ect.
I would also like to do the head cooling mod while the engine is out.
Is there any differences I would need to worry about with the navigator motor?
Most cooling mods are listed for 4.6 dohc but they should work for the 5.4 as well should they not?
I emailed Lethal performance and asked if their gen 2 cooling mod (evenflo) would work for a navigator but they replied that they were unsure as they haven't tried to fit it to that engine.
I think I would rather do the cooling mod from the top of the heads vs the rear just for ease of repair in case there is a leak.
any input is appreciated.
Thanks
