Blew off radiator on heater core

so today coming back from a bonfire trying to show off a little I got on her a little and she reved to 6k. I noticed the heater quit and I figured I check when I got home 10 min away. While going down road I noticed the gryphon read coolant at 220. I came to a stop and was in a hue cloud of steam I shut it off and got hose back on. My friends caught up and we filled the radiator with a mix of Coca Cola and ****. When I got home I flushed it with water and am getting coolant in morning. Should I take it to get it looked at or drive it and see how it does? 06 f150 with 5.4l 160,xxx miles

Nothing in this post makes sense, especislly the title. Got what hose back on? 220° is not too hot at all; not even close to dangerous. No damage there.

Just give it a really good flush and refill with coolant mix. And replace all suspect hoses.

A real 'pisser' of a story. It's distilled water anyway and coke (after the carbonated water boils off). 6K ? First post from an 18 year old? Even if the wild story was true. Wouldn't hurt a thing.
