302 removal help

hey all, I messed up my motor pretty bad last week and have to pull it for inspection. was wondering if there is any tips and tricks for removing my 302 from my 92. first problem i have is height. its lifted 6" on 35s. i've hers airing down the tires will clear a standard hoist. or removing the tires front the front and putting the rotors on wood will give me enough clearance. second thing im wondering is if there's any little tricks that help. will most likely leave the tranny in the truck. third question is where is the best place to attach the chains for the hoist. I couldn't find any write ups or videos, but if someone knows one that would greatly help. '92 f150 302 5spd 4x4

I'd do the wood on the floor set it on the rotors. The best places for chain attachment is the head boltholes in the front and the back. Simple engine removal really. Compared to the newer ones..
