I just had a HeliCoil blow out of my 99 ford expedition 5.4 triton. Been reading that some members rent out the Time-Sert Kit on this forum. Trying to find out who i need to get in touch with to see about renting one. Any help is appreciated thank you!

 

Galaxy is a member that rents the kit. You will need the Bigsert.

 

I sent Galaxy a message but i noticed he hasn't been active since June 19th. This has put our only car out of commission until its repaired and i cant afford to purchase a new kit.

 

I don't know if he has any Bigserts.

He's active duty military, and may be out of the country.

 

I'm pretty sure Galaxy has the big sert stuff. He's in the military so sometines He's slow to respond.

 

I also have a kit (5553) available. PM me if interested.

The "Bigsert" is the same size as the standard sized insert (Galaxy schooled me on that one). For severe conditions (hole greater than .660"), Timesert has a triple over-sized insert that fills the larger hole and allows the standard insert to be used inside it. There are additional tools in addition to the 5553 kit that are required.
