gas smell in cab
 
just changed my plugs. and now i have a gas smell in my cab. i cant visually see any leak in or around engine. didnt remove anything but coils and plugs. any ideas would be helpful.

Loose plugs? Didje torque 'em to 28 Ft-lbs DRY? Did you remove the fuel rail to ease the job? If so, check the injector O-rings ...

i didnt remove fuel rail. just did it. and thats what i was afraid of a loose spark plug

If you have a 5.4 3 valve with the 2 piece plugs, torque specs are 25 ft/lb.

If it isn't your plugs, inspect your fuel pressure regulator for leaks.

There is no FPR on a 04+, it uses a FPDM.
