engine harness schematic?

anyone know a place where i can find some engine harness schematics or photos? specifically the cabling for the iac and cht? I'm in the middle of an engine swap and seem to have things mixed up. I cant find my iac cable. need some photos of the main engine harness.

Don't keep starting new threads. Just stick with the original and it will get worked out. Starting new threads each time is annoying, as it makes it hard to help you.

Jbrew - I'm going to leave this thread as is. He's asking a different question here.

I'm not playing musical threads. That's to bad, I have his schematic and written explanation making it easily pin-point locations under the hood, - in his other very similar thread. Both have to do w/CHT and IAC harness locations.

I'll just get rid of it. Much easier.

Good Luck fawcetteng

fawcetteng, - I have the info your looking for and then some, but I'm not going to split it up between two threads as it makes no sense. Since the moderator doesn't understand what's going on here, - copy and paste your other thread question (w/linked photo's) within this thread, since this one has the better thread title.

This thread = You need the schematic.
Other thread = Why you need it.

See what I mean?

Then I'll link your old thread to this one for you.

A Merge would have been perfect, - hard to find good help.

sorry about the double posting and such - these giant forums with so many sub sections overwhelm me.

anyhow, with some people's help on here i was able to figure out i got things backwards - had the CHT on the back right bank rather then the front left bank, so had connected the IAC connector to it, which shouldnt be possibly except that the replacement sensors from the autoparts stores do not have the little tangs on them that prevent plug mismatches.

new related help needed - i need to replace my IAC connector without having the old one (dont ask why!). Anyone know the color coding? as in, looking at the harness plug, which wire is which?

So you need a new connector or do you have one already? You need to know where to get one?

You also need to know which wire goes where ? I got that much, just not sure about the rest. (?)
