ac compressor and belt 4.6 to 5.4?

I don't suppose these are the same. More concerned about the compressor. I've got a 97 with a 4.6 with a new ac compressor, and am looking at an 01 with a 5.4. I'll swap the compressor if it'll fit. Thanks...

Use the auto zone web site to check the part numbers

good idea...thanks.

I used partsamerica.com 'cause autozone.com seems to be down. You can select your part, then click on "see what else this part fits", and it shows you everything. Very cool.

Turns out the compressor and belt are the same. now how much of a pain are these to change....

if you go to auto zone app and search both motors you will find the a/c compressor for a 4.6 and a 5.4 2v show the same part number which would have same mounting style and follow same serpentine belt pattern/diagram.
