Hey all!
Have my 50k rebuild pulled and ready to go into my new/used 97xlt. After5 yrs and apx 50k miles...gaskets look a little weepy...thinking about nipping it in the bud while its out..
Any one battled the front and rear mains on these mod motors? Thinking should be straight fwd..
Also pondering what to do with the manifolds...not crackef or leaking yet...but getting thin...already battled the studs on the rebuild 50k ago.. new hardware from ford and it looks horrible 5 yrs later...thinking headers...but don't really have the extra coin atm...hate to battle this later with the engine in the truck...

take and replace the studs while its out. make your life a million times easier.
